But There Is No Dog Training School Near Me
It is hard to find a brick and mortar dog training school, especially if you live in a more rural area. Fortunately, Animal Behavior College began offering an excellent dog training course online more than two decades ago. As long as you have access to reliable internet connection, you can enroll in our dog training school.
Within a year of enrolling at Animal Behavior College, you could be a professional dog trainer! No matter where you live in Indiana, ABC’s online dog training course allows you to learn the vocation at home.

Sounds Great, But How Do I Get Experience with Real Dogs?
Naturally, real-world experience is necessary when learning to train dogs. ABC provides plenty of opportunity for our students to put their new knowledge to work. After completing the first nine stages of the program online, students must volunteer a minimum of ten hours at an animal shelter where they train dogs basic obedience skills in hopes of making them more adoptable. Then they embark on an externship with a local dog training professional.
By combining online coursework with volunteer hours and a hands-on externship alongside a local mentor, ABC provides a solid foundation for our students. Our graduates leave the program certified dog trainers with the confidence to succeed.
