Naturally, real-world experience is necessary when learning to train dogs.  Over the years, the school has built an impressive network of professional dog trainers throughout the United States and Canada who serve as mentors to our students.  By combining online coursework with a hands-on externship alongside a local mentor, ABC provides a solid foundation for our students.  In addition, students must volunteer a minimum of ten hours at a local animal shelter.  Our graduates get loads of great experience and leave the program certified dog trainers with the confidence to enter the workforce.
