At the Premier Canine Academy, we do things a little differently to the other dog training facilities in the area. We have created a home style environment that will help your dog learn faster and retain more information when they transition back into your home. We treat and train your dog as if they were our own dog.
While with us, your dog will feel like it is living at home. They will learn how to handle being in a crate, they will learn how to be calm when they are out of the crate, they will learn how to interact with other dogs, they will learn how to behave around children and cats. We will teach them to stay off of counter tops and out of garbage cans and teach them to not react every time the doorbell rings or someone knocks on the door.
By giving your dog “real life” experiences gives them more opportunity to learn and makes the transition back to your home faster with longer lasting results.
Our unique training facility allows us to work with up to ten dogs at a time. We help your dog to learn structure and routine while providing them with multiple opportunities throughout each day they are with us to work on each new skill with our certified dog trainer.
Each day your dog is with us they will receive frequent social times with the other dogs, pack walks, one on one obedience training as well as group training sessions as we believe that dogs learn best from each other.
We provide opportunity for your dog to be exposed to children and learn how to behave around them. As your dog progresses through our program we will give them exposure to various social settings by taking them on trips to dog-friendly stores, parks, and trails.
We believe in setting your dog up for success and vow to find the best tools to help you and your dog in the safest and most humane ways possible. It is our promise to go above and beyond to make sure your experience with us is one you, and your dog, will never forget.
