Programs in vet assistant schools are designed to help students learn about topics such as hospital procedures, animal restraint, medicines, examination room procedures, surgical preparation, laboratory procedures, small animal nursing, and much more.

The goal of our program is to prepare candidates for responsibilities they will hold in actual settings as a veterinary assistant. After gaining the requisite skills and training, our candidates apply their knowledge in an actual animal hospital setting working alongside veterinary personnel. The skills gained through our program––and the real life experience, in particular––are extremely valuable to candidates as they begin job searching upon completion of our program.
