Laura Heller

My name Is laura heller. I have been working with dogs for about 15 years. I started my Journey with dog training when I rescued my dog In, Roscoe. He was a giant (100 + Lbs) blue, cropped eared, pittie, who had been abandoned out on the streets of East Stroudsburg in the middle of winter. I had always loved dogs and knew i wanted to work with dogs In someway. i was always running agility courses with my childhood dog Sam, the Jack Russell Terrier, who I trained all buy myself as a kid. I just knew at a young age that I had a connection with dogs and that I understood them in a way most struggle to. It came naturally.
WIth roscoe being the breed he was, I knew it was my responsibility to educate myself on proper handling and training to help educate others on the breed and on how to understand dogs as a whole.
I went on an advocacy mission, I got certified as a dog trainer through the Animal Behavioral College in 2013, Granting me the credibility to go and teach others how to build a meaningful and beautiful relationship with their dogs. Within my 10 year career as a dog trainer, I have helped numerous homeless dogs become adoptable family dogs, I have helped owners with dogs who have reactivity Issues, I have helped shape and build confident and social puppies over all, I have helped many owners understand their dog, and give them the opportunity to build an amazing relationship with their dog.
Always continuing my education, I am currently on course to be certified through the AKC for my Canine Good Citizen Certification.
