Basic obedience group classes and private lessons. Focused on positive reinforcement and relationship building between dogs and their owners.
I am a lifelong dog lover who grew up loving my family basset hounds from the time I was a baby to when I moved out after graduating college. Since adopting my first dog, Molly, in 2013 I have been passionate about animal rescue. Over the last several years I have fostered over 12 dogs, adopted my 5th foster dog, Rosie, and drove numerous freedom rides for both cats and dogs.
I started taking my dogs to training in 2017 after suffering a back injury that prevented me from running with my dogs who were leash pullers. Shortly after completing basic obedience and therapy dog school with my dogs I decided I wanted to go to school to be a dog trainer. My trainers supported me and now I am helping teach classes at All American Dog Trainers in Dalton, PA. Although my full time job as a nurse practitioner prevents me from training dogs as much as I would like, I want to share my knowledge with other dog owners. I think owning a dog is a blessing and I want to share what I have learned. My goal is to help dogs and people become best buds and enjoy their time together.
