I am currently looking to work with a dog training facility or animal shelter that will help me learn new training techniques and perspectives.In college, I studied Anthropology. I was able to get an understanding of people, culture, and psychology. During, my time there I also worked as a Night Manager for a center that specialized in helping survivors of domestic violence. After that, I ended up as a quality assurance software engineer. With my time in technology, I worked directly with clients, setting up our onboarding program, and teaching it to new coworkers. I also taught classes to the rest of the company about what our team was doing.But I was looking for something that I truly enjoyed doing. That’s when I found dog walking and then training. Within the ABC program, I have worked with all kinds of dogs of a variety of ages and breeds. I had a wonderful externship that included a basic puppy class, and then an intermediate one.
