With over 30 years of experience handling thousands of dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments; Kim specializes in obedience and behavior issues utilizing various techniques with proven results.
Kim focuses on the family dog and also has experience in AKC Obedience Competition. Kim’s training style uses positive-based approach to enhance the bond between K9 and the human Clan.
Kim recognizes that all dogs are individuals and that they learn at different rates and styles, thus proceeding at the dog’s pace ensures the dog understands the behavior being taught and asked to perform.
Kim is a Full Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP #3500) Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT #81314) and believes in continuing education by attending seminars and classes, whenever possible presented by various trainers and speakers.
Kim received her Certified Dog Trainer status through Animal Behavior College.
To keep her own dog Shire happy, Kim has certified him in therapy work through Pet Partners and enjoys sharing Shire’s loving and lively personality.
Shire also acts as a demonstration dog in her classes performing the obedience commands and behaviors taught, learned and expected through consistent continued training.
Kim is also Mobile, Insured, Licensed and bonded; Kim feels that being bonded gives her clients added piece of mind. We also offer In-Home training, and group classes.
