Entry requirements for the Whitebridge Pet Brands Scholarship
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Meet all admissions and physical requirements outlined in Animal Behavior College’s Dog Obedience Instructor Program Enrollment Agreement
- Agree to accept and apply the scholarship toward enrollment in the Dog Obedience Instructor Program if selected
Scholarship Essay Requirement
Applicants must submit a 300-500 word essay answering the following prompt:
Describe how a pet has changed your life.
This essay is your opportunity to share how a pet has impacted your life and explain how that experience is significant to your future goals.

Animal Behavior College will review all eligible submissions and select the scholarship recipient based on:
- Eligibility requirements
- Demonstrated financial need
- Essay quality, originality, and passion for the field
- Originality and content personality (AI written submissions will not be considered.)
Scholarship Selection and Announcement
The scholarship recipient will be announced on or before July 30, 2026.
If the selected recipient declines the scholarship or does not meet enrollment requirements, Animal Behavior College reserves the right to select an alternate recipient. All decisions made by Animal Behavior College regarding the scholarship are final.
