I have been training dogs for several years. My wife and I started a boarding facility from our home that is designed for socialization. We do not put dogs in kennels. I went to Thompson Education Direct for two years and received a certificate for Obedience Instructor/Dog trainer. I then heard about the “Animal Behavior College” certification program of which I completed in December of 2008. I mentored with Bernice Clifford at the “Animal Farm Foundation” (A no-kill shelter for “Pits”). Bernice was part of a train the trainer program in the past.
My wife and I do private and group training classes. My interest is in creating a community where dogs and owners are welcome. I have worked 33 years with behavior problem citizens and now am working to solve many dog issues. Our training will focus on the client’s needs.
I am also a Healthy Pet Net representative. The whole dog is important to us. Exercise, Nutrition, Socialization, Breeders, and proper medical care are all important part of our training program.
