I have been training professionally since 2004.
I had started specifically with shelter dogs and Pit Bulll dogs ups breeds but have since branched off considerably.
In my years as a certified trainer, I have worked with many area rescues doing assessments, behavior modification, basic obedience and adoption situations.
I have done seminars on child and dog safety, written articles on training for a local online paper and have had a hand in helping my county’s BSL ban NOT get passed.
I have also had one of my training situations published in Dog Fancy magazine in 2014.
I train with balance and/or positive reinforcement methods and have successfully handled everything from potty training to rehabilitating abused and neglected dogs to safe and friendly homes.
I have also entered into an additional field of training as a Certified Service Dog Trainer. I am part of the First Responders Foundation as a trainer for their Javelan program (Javelan.org) in Nebraska, where we train retired and medically retired military men and women how to train their pet dog to become their specific task driven service dog.
I strive everyday to learn more about people and their dogs and how I can help keep their relationships I act and beneficial to both.
