Marisa Bellis, ABCDT
Marisa has years of experience working around the world with exotic and domesticated animals; safeguarding the welfare of animal actors on set in film and television. She holds degrees in Wildlife Photojournalism, Equestrian Management and is a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College.
When not running after her own rescues, she teaches obedience at a veterinary clinic, takes on private clients with a myriad of behavioral and obedience challenges, and trains animals for film and television.
Marisa has been interviewed by several national media outlets, including CNN, ‘The Boston Globe,” “Bark Magazine,” and has been a guest speaker at events for the Director’s Guild Associations and The Boston Animal
Rescue League. Her recent credits include: “Daddy’s Home 2,” “The Burning Woman,” “Who do you think would win?,” “The Blacklist,” “Mozart in the Jungle,” “Gotham” and “Patriots Day 2016.”
She is always looking for new animal talent to use in her projects, so she will not only provide you with highly skilled, professional training but she may also give your dog an opportunity to show off your critter in film or T.V.!
