I started out my education as a business major. My goal was to either become a bookkeeper- like my mom, or to run my own office…somewhere. I had always wanted a dog but with my families allergy’s, I was limited. About my 2yr in college, I took an animal psychology class- as an elective to fill my schedule. After my first class, I was hooked! I began doing more research online, and was independently studying.. positive reinforcement techniques, and methods. I now found myself with a need to know why dogs do the things they do and, how to communicate with them.

To bond with another species is something unparalleled! There’s nothing like it in the world! When you are working, playing, traveling, or even just calling your dog to you, the feeling is amazing! I became a dog trainer to do just that- help as many people and their dogs build a “relationship built on trust, and cooperation” – Leslie Nelson my mentor trainer, so that they too, can relish in the awesomeness that is having a happy, healthy, and well balanced dog! So far things have gone great, but my determination combined with the help of ABC, I’m more then half way to reaching my goals of opening my own doggie empire!
