Lindsay brings about 10 years experience working with American Pit Bull Terriers.
Lindsay has owned, researched, and observed the behavior of this breed for the last 10 years.
Over the years, Lindsay had been offering private sessions to friends and family on a part time basis as they were so intrigued with the behavior of her pack.
In February 2013 Lindsay helped with the rehabilitation of a Pit Bull named Chico with his dog on dog aggression while visiting family in Utah for Paws for Life.
This boy inspired Lindsay to move forward with what she really loved. When Lindsay returned home, she left her job as a Mortgage Processor in the Mortgage Industry of 8 years to pursue her dreams of becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.
Her journey began at Animal Behavior College where she studied 11 stages of comprehensive curriculum, including both textbook and on hands training.
A month later Lindsay joined It's a Pittie Rescue as a volunteer and now plays an important role in coordinating training for It's a Pittie Rescue's foster dogs and also helps train foster dogs in her region.
Lindsay is now a ABC Certified Dog Trainer and doing what she absolutely loves. Although Lindsay specializes in American Pit Bull Terriers and is very passionate about the breed, she also is other breed friendly as well.
Lindsay positively reinforces both owner and their dogs to create a more happy and well-balanced home.
