Animal advocate, Brandi Burket believes that we, as humans, are the voice of those who cannot speak for themselves and often times our pets are really trying to tell us something!
During her early years in the corporate world, after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University, she volunteered at Canine Assistants, a non-profit organization in Georgia, that trains service dogs for those who desperately need them.
In 2006 she headed south to Florida, where she became a board member of St. Francis Society Animal Rescue, in Tampa, FL. St. Francis is a non-profit, volunteer-run, animal rescue group.
Brandi spent two and a half years working at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB), raising much needed funds for the 1000’s of homeless pets they take in, and care for each year. Working at HSTB helped her understand the importance of following the passion that fuels you, and went back to school.
She graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2010 as a Certified Dog Trainer and has 5 years of experience utilizing positive reinforcement techniques coaching k-9s. She puts her heart and soul into applying all that she has learned and experienced, into helping people live a happy, harmonious life with their pets.
