Short Term Program – Frequently Asked Questions
Ready to take your animal-care skills to the next level? You don’t have to choose between staying where you are and starting an entirely new career path. Animal Behavior College’s Short-Term Programs make it easy to expand your knowledge, explore new areas of animal care, or complement the education you’re already pursuing. For current students and working professionals, adding new skills can mean more ways to serve your clients and more opportunities to grow your career. And if you’re interested in working with animals but aren’t ready to commit to a full-length program, a Short-Term Program can be a great place to start. How long does a program take to complete?
If you are currently enrolled in an ABC core program, you have 2 months from the end date of your core program to complete the Short Term Program, while all other students have 6 months from their Short Term Program access date to complete the course. Limited extensions are available. The program may be completed at any time within your available timeframe, depending on the amount of time you can dedicate to your studies.

Once I purchase a Short Term Program, how soon can I access the information?
For Core Program students, Short Term Programs are available for purchase at the time of enrollment, during the program, and after graduation. If you purchased a Short Term Program while enrolled in a Core Program, access will be granted upon completion of Module 3.
For Non-Core students, Short Term Programs can be purchased at any time. If you would like to purchase a Short Term Program, you will first need to sign up as an ABC Public Student.
Payments may take up to 1 week for processing and approval. Once processed and approved, you will receive an email notifying you when your Short Term Program is available to access.

I did not pass my Short Term Program, how can I retake the examination?
Students must earn a score of 70% or greater on the final examination to receive a certificate of completion for a Short Term Program. If you do not pass and would like to retake the examination, please contact shorttermprograms@animalbehaviorcollege.com to request access to the exam. You will have 30 days to resubmit the exam.

What materials are included with the Short Term Program?
The Short Term Programs are formatted in an online PDF format which can be accessed online upon purchase of the program.

What will I get upon completion of the Short Term Program (i.e., what certification will I receive)?
Upon successful completion of the Short Term Program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion which can be downloaded from the Student or Alumni Center. You can then proudly display your certificate for your clients and loved ones to see.

Currently, our Short Term Programs are being offered at the low cost of only $310.00.
