Santa Clarita, Calif., January 30, 2018 — Animal Behavior College (ABC), a vocational college that trains professional dog trainers, cat trainers, veterinary assistants and pet groomers nationwide and in the 10 provinces of Canada, announced today that PetAg® Inc., is sponsoring the school’s Certified Grooming Instruction (GIP) at the Gold-level. PetAg is one of the world’s leading pet product and manufacturing companies of health, wellness and grooming products for animals. This is the third year that the company is supporting GIP at this significant sponsorship level.
As a Gold-level sponsor, Pet Ag will provide, among other things, grooming product samples and information to all GIP students over the next year. They will supply product brochures for ABC GIP Graduation Packets, as well as discounts for GIP graduates. PetAg will also continue to contribute articles to ABC’s newsletter “Paw Prints” that is distributed to more than 18,000 alumni and mentors of the school.

As of December 31, 2017, ABC has graduated 2,639 students in GIP. Currently, there are 507 students enrolled in the program and ABC projects this number will increase this year. To date, the college has graduated and certified more than 25,000 students from all four of its core programs combined including GIP, the Dog Obedience Program (DOP), the Veterinary Assistant (VAP) and the Cat Training Program (CTP).
