Santa Clarita, Calif., May 13, 2013 – Animal Behavior College (ABC) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Sherri L. Collins, who has joined the company as the Sponsorship and Outreach Director. In her new position, she is responsible for expanding the college’s relationships with pet industry businesses, as well as assisting in PR initiatives and editing web and print content for students, graduates and the general public.
Ms. Collins comes to ABC with a wealth of pet industry experience, having served as editor of Pet Product News International, the industry’s leading trade publication, for more than 4 years. She was instrumental in several of the publication’s initiatives, including the launch of Natural Pet Product Merchandiser, PetProductNew.com’s Product Finder and the annual Retailers’ Top Pick Awards. Collins is a veteran editor and journalist with more than 20 years of experience in trade, consumer and enthusiast publishing.
