Students are educated in the field of canine and feline grooming, preparing them to begin their professional career upon graduation. The course teaches a broad range of topics for dog as well as cat grooming including health and safety, grooming tool techniques, and the basics of bathing, brushing, drying and clipping. Also included in the coursework is a section on business building which is an essential tool for students who are looking to open their own grooming business. Since launching its program in 2010, ABC has helped over 1,500 students pursue careers in the animal grooming industry! In addition to their Certified Pet Groomer courses, ABC also offers Dog Training and Veterinary Assistant certification programs. CeCe Koplin, Lead Program Manager for the Pet Grooming Department at ABC, Alyssa Knerl, Director of Operations and Angela Deluca, Educational Alliances Manager, will be available to offer important information about the certified pet career courses at ABC.
