Dog Training Program Success Stories

None of the following Animal Behavior College reviews and  testimonials were paid for or embellished in any way; however, ABC makes no claim that the experiences these students had will be the same as the ones you have.

Suzy Frigo’s, ABCDT
Suzy is a former student at Animal Behavior College. She has succeeded in her field of study and is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Everybody’s Doggy, which is a nonprofit service dog training organization. She is continually learning and studying to gain the knowledge that she needs to make her business a success. Suzy has recently shared her success story with us, and we would like to share it with you.
Below is a short biography on her:
“My journey into dog training began at a young age as I grew up with my mother who bred and trained Labrador Retrievers for various purposes including service work, therapy support, and companionship. Mentored by her and other experienced professionals, I gained valuable skills in all aspects of puppy raising and dog training. These experiences laid the groundwork for my eventual career in dog training and behavior.”
“I have firsthand insight and empathy into the experiences of individuals who navigate the world with disabilities and neurodiversity. This understanding fuels my passion for supporting people in building strong bonds with their dogs while navigating the complexities of disability and neurodiversity.”
“I’m committed to ongoing learning by regularly attending lectures, workshops, courses, and conferences, ensuring that my knowledge and skills remain up to date. I place a particular emphasis on understanding and fostering the bond between individuals with disabilities and their dogs - which is why I chose Animal Behavior College to become a Certified Service Dog Trainer.”
We asked Suzy why she chose Animal Business College for her studies, and this is what she said:
“I chose Animal Behavior College to become a Certified Service Dog Trainer because of their exceptional reputation and comprehensive curriculum. I needed a program that I was able to complete online while parenting my five children, three of which have special needs, and Animal Behavior College allowed me to do exactly that. After researching several different Service Dog Trainer programs, I knew ABC was right for me.”
We asked her what her experience throughout the ABC Dog Trainer Instructor Program was like and she responded:
“My experience through Animal Behavior College’s Service Dog program has not only enhanced my knowledge as a dog trainer but has also expanded my deep sense of purpose in helping individuals train their dogs to migrate to their disabilities. This program offers a well-rounded approach to understanding training techniques as it applies to disabilities, aligning perfectly with my passion. I appreciate the guidance I received from my program manager and how user-friendly the program was.”
What are you planning on doing with your education?
“I am the Founder and Executive Director of Everybody’s Doggy, a nonprofit organization that offers dog training and behavior support. The core of our mission is to help everybody, and their doggy truly thrive. I’m using my education as an Animal Behavior College Certified Service Dog Trainer to actively extend our service dog training program. By doing so, we're able to uphold our commitment to offering accessible and affordable training options to people who are seeking to train their own service dogs.”
Is there any other information you would like to include about you and your animal experience?
In addition to my work with dogs, I’ve worked as a perinatal professional. Through this role, I have developed a diverse set of skills including trauma-informed care, inclusivity, advocacy, and effective communication. These skills, combined with my background in dog training, contribute to my unique approach in supporting people and their dogs.” We at Animal Behavior College would like to wish Suzy lots of success and happiness in her new career.
