How the Cat Trainer Program Works
- This is a distance learning program that will include home studies for the academic portion as well as volunteer work at local shelter
- You will be asked to volunteer 25 hours working with cats at a local shelter or rescue of your choice once you complete the home study portion of the program
- The home study portion of the program can be accelerated or slowed down depending on how much time you apply to your studies, your reading abilities, and your ability to retain information for the online tests
- The shelter portion of the program is a critical part in helping you to become a professionally certified cat trainer. Whether you come to us as a completely new trainer or a highly experienced trainer, the regulations to certify you must remain the same. In addition, we want you to have the most diverse experience as possible with multiple cats.
