Animal Behavior College held its 9th commencement ceremony for our In-Classroom Dog Trainer Program graduates on Friday, February 23, 2018. These graduates have spent the last 5 months mastering positive dog training techniques and applying their knowledge at Best Friends Animal Shelter.
“I admire these graduates for their dedication, tenacity and willingness to make a difference in the lives of animals,” said instructor Beth Harrison, ABCDT-L2. “They will face many challenges as professional dog trainers, but they are well-equipped and will be able to embrace whatever comes their way.”
Our In-Classroom Dog Trainer Program offers traditional learning for those who prefer a classroom environment with one-on-one instruction. It is offered twice a year in February or March (spring class) and in August or September (fall class). In addition, the program is approved to educate veterans and other eligible persons under the provisions of Title 38, United States Code.
Enrollment for our spring class is now open. Deadline is March 19, 2018.
