Santa Clarita, CA April 11, 2013 – It is a great time to find an exciting career working with animals. Come and meet representatives from Animal Behavior College (ABC) who will be on hand to discuss pet career opportunities at the America’s Family Pet Expo, the world’s largest pet and pet product expo. ABC is the largest animal vocational school of its kind in the Northern America and offers three dynamic career opportunities to animal lovers; Certified Dog Trainer, Certified Veterinary Assistant, and Certified Pet Groomer. The America’s Family Pet Expo will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 19-21 from 10am-6pm (Fri, Sun) and 10am-7pm (Sat) at the Orange County Fair & Event Center. Visit the Animal Behavior College booth at #1117 and learn about the tuition discount for any of the ABC courses. Pets are not allowed into the Pet Expo.

ABC President, Steve Appelbaum says, “There are an estimated 83.3 million dogs, 95.6 million cats, 16 million birds, and 7 million horses in the United States alone. That is a huge number of animals and with them come dozens of career path opportunities in the $53 billion pet industry. ABC’s unique program design combines an in-home study curriculum with hands-on training. ABC has a network of over 800 Mentor Trainers, 600 grooming facilities and 1,800 veterinary hospitals throughout the United States and Canada who work with students during their externship and often hire them after they graduate.” ABC’s alumni group contains the largest number of certified dog trainers in the United States and Canada.

ABC’s innovative curriculum reaches a broad spectrum of students; ranging anywhere from recent high school graduates, to educators and Veterinarians. Since its inception 15 years ago, ABC has evolved alongside the ever-growing animal industry, meeting the needs of its enthusiasts. To date, the school has helped over 12,000 animal lovers pursue careers in the field, ensuring a brighter future for its students, and the lives of the animals they touch.

The America’s Family Pet Expo is offering free entrance to active and retired military members and children under 5 years of age. The Orange County Fair & Event Center is located at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
