"Tonia Mae Colón enrolled in our Veterinary Assistant Program to save animals the way she tried to save her German Shepherd from an incurable skin disease. Soon after she said farewell to her dog Roxie, she gave birth to her son. With a baby to take care of and a husband in the U.S. Navy, she decided to make some extra income by working several part-time jobs. However, Tonia was unchallenged and wanted a career in the veterinary field. She learned about the MyCAA education benefit and soon registered for our online veterinary assistant school. Upon graduation, she found work at a veterinary hospital."

Kelsey Dawson is a mother, wife, veteran and certified pet groomer. During her break from college and work, she decided to join the U.S. Air Force. While there, she fixed fighter jets and met her husband. After having her daughter, she longed to make her childhood dream of working with animals a reality. Having qualified for the educational financial benefits of the MyCAA program, Kelsey signed up for our Dog Grooming Program. Shortly after graduation, she began working as a groomer at a local animal hospital in New Mexico.
