During my years as a County Animal Control Officer and later a Registered Veterinary Technician for a Municipal Animal Shelter, I saw first hand what led former guardians to turn their dogs over to public agencies. My goal is to ensure that each dog who attends class at Arrow becomes a cherished and permanent member of their family, and a source of pride for its guardians.

The best time to start training your puppy is between 8 weeks and 4 months of age. They are little sponges at this time and learn quickly what is expected of them. If they are left to their own means, they will often become impossible to live with; what was cute when they were a pup is no longer cute when they are an adult.
