Profile: I offer gentle, reward based, basic obedience training at your home. Providing this in the environment where your dog is the most comfortable has proven to be quite beneficial.
My goal is to teach YOU how to become your dog's favorite trainer! I'll help you read your dog's body language and see how important yours is to them as well. By broadening your understanding of communication, I hope to provide you with a wonderful, more balanced relationship with your pet. Most importantly, I'll teach you how to make it FUN!
In addition to basic obedience commands in and around the home, it's very important that your dog receives adequate exercise, so we'll also focus on getting your pet to walk politely on a leash.
I have a special place in my heart for shelter animals - especially bully breeds. If your shelter dog seems moderately aggressive or fearful, I'd love to help keep them in your home!
I'm available weekdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The cost is $50 per session in Amarillo, and they last about an hour. If you purchase more than one lesson at a time, you get a $5 discount per session. Multiple dog households are $70 per session (that is, if we're training more than one dog) and will get extra time, up to 1.5 hours.
Call my office at 806-416-0272 or send a message through my website and let's get started!

Fort Worth, Texas 76116
Profile: Hello! I have over 10 years experience working in kennels, and I have studied veterinary technology and animal behavior.
Resident of Fort Worth graduated from the Animal Behavior College (ABC) emphasizing in shelter dog training.
I did my externship with the Human Society of North Texas in Fort Worth where I was hired as an adoption counselor. This position was filled with opportunities to find people the dog of their dreams.
I was also able to hone my training techniques on dozens of breeds while understanding the unique challenges for a shelter dog’s life. Recently I got involved in Service Dog Training through Train a Dog Save a Warrior (TADSAW). It is a non-profit 501(c)(3)(D4)* organization that helps put shelter dogs into their forever homes with the veterans that suffer from PTSD, TBI, and MST.
Dog Group Classes and Private Home Lessons are two ways I offer training to people.
I have partnered up with a self-serve dog wash & full service grooming: Happy K9 along with Spa Paws Hotel “The Lap of Luxury” to work Group Classes into their well rounded love for dogs. Private Lessons are in the comfort of your home but also where the dog feels the most in control.
Lessons range from one time visit to 4-7 week packages where I coach the owners to train their dog in everything from Obedience Training and Problem Solving to Leadership Training if necessary.
My training techniques teach dogs that obedience and other desirable behaviors are things they like using rewards such as treats, toys, petting and praise.
This type of training creates a dog whose primary motivation is based on earning reward as opposed to avoiding a punishment. My goal is to teach the client to look at their dog as an individual and use the things he or she likes as a way of rewarding them whenever they do something the client likes. This will motivate both the client and their dog without causing unnecessary confusion or stress.

Round Rock, Texas 78664
Profile: I help people achieve a calm, balanced canine companion through effective pack leadership by teaching them to understand and fulfill their dog's natural and instinctual needs.
Profile: Your Diggity Dog
I use positive reinforcement training, in the privacy of your home, to help you learn how your dog thinks and use this to train in a fun, yet effective way. Building the bond between owner & dog makes for a happy life for both!
I know that diggity dogs have busy people, so in addition to training, I also offer walking & pet taxi services.

Profile: I’m Carolyn Nussman, Owner and Head Coach of Pawsitive Canine Coaching. Growing up in Waco, Texas I always had dogs and loved playing and caring for them.
My love for dogs carried over into my adult life raising my first Golden Retriever, Gracie, caring for my friend’s dogs and now being the proud parent to my sweet Golden Retriever, Libby.
After working in the IT Profession for over 20 years, I decided to follow my lifetime passion to work with dog’s full time.
I am an Honor graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My yearlong commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and understanding behavior and its motives. I continue to study dog behavior through professional continuing education programs and most recently received Certificate of completions in Pet Nutrition and Diet and in Training Shelter Dogs.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and also a volunteer at Operation Kindness, North Texas’ Oldest & Largest No-Kill Animal Shelter.
My certification, continued education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and positively train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog special to you!
I know from first-hand experience the difference professional training makes in the relationship between a dog and their owner. Without professional training, it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation can occur!
I teach through Positive Motivation utilizing Reward Based Methods while teaching you how to communicate with your dog on a level your dog will understand and consistently respond to. As I work with dogs and their owners, there is nothing that satisfies me more than to see a happy dog and a happy owner!
