APDT: Drinks, Thanks and Friendly Faces
We were simply amazed at how much fun everyone had at our reception last Friday night at the Association of Pet Dog Trainers conference in Covington, Kentucky. Food, drinks, great friends and good conversation ruled the night to such a degree that we’re considering hosting even more receptions like this next year.

ABC Vice President Debbie Kendrick and Founder/CEO Steve Appelbaum flank dog training pioneer Karen Pryor in the main hall at last weekend’s APDT conference.
The gathering included ABC founder and president Steve Appelbaum, vice president Debbie Kendrick, ABC staffers, students, grads and mentor trainers.

CEO Steve Appelbaum visits with recent ABC grad and Dallas-based trainer Karen Kennedy during ABC’s reception at last weekend’s APDT conference.
Demand was so great that we had to upgrade at the last minute to a larger room!

ABC Educational Alliance & Sponsorship Manager (and event organizer) Angela DeLuca (r) visits with ABC Mentor Trainer Monique Williams.
If you attended, please take a moment and tell us about your experience in the “comments” section below. If you know of a similar conference where you think such a reception would be appropriate, please list that as well. We truly value our extended family of students, grads and mentor trainers. The strength of our school and the credibility of our certifications comes from having an enthusiastic, involved crowd that endorses us and their own hard work. With our most sincere thanks, we at ABC raise our glasses to you in thanks!
